Carolina Fresh opened its first Tide Cleaners store in the Charlotte market in February 2014.  It was the 20^th store in the system.  In 2019 it opened its second plant store location followed in the same year with its first drop store location.  Unfortunately, the opening of the two stores coincided with the pandemic.   Carolina Fresh weathered this period by remaining focused on serving the customer and community during an unprecedented period.

In 2022 the company acquired a four-store competitor in the market which allowed it to utilize the two plant locations more efficiently it operates.   Today there are seven Tide Cleaners locations in the Charlotte market.  The company has contracted to acquire another competitor in the market, which is scheduled to close in early 2024.  Coincident with this contracted acquisition the company’s Arbor’s plant location is currently being expanded to accommodate the addition of the acquisition.  With the conversion of the three stores Tide Cleaners will become the dominant dry cleaner and laundry service operation in the Charlotte market.

Carolina Fresh continues to focus on first class service of its customers and continued expectation to grow its platform in the Charlotte market.
